Catherine (Kate) Reilly
Educated at the Maine School of Science & Mathematics, Loyola College, and Fordham University, Kate Reilly is the Maine State Economist. Prior to her appointment in 2005, Kate served as economic advisor to the Maine State Planning Office. She began her career as a researcher at the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at the University of Maine, where he work focused on public support for higher education, youth migration, and state tax policy. Her current responsibilities include advising the Governor and Legislature on matters of economic development, tax policy, education finance, and regionalization. Kate is a native of Hancock County and now lives in Augusta.
