The objective of this association is to promote business and tourism in the Katahdin Region; to attract industry, manufacturing and other enterprises; to aid in the economic development of East Millinocket, Medway, Millinocket and the vicinity; to encourage and assist with public improvements; to advocate measures that will add to the comfort of the residents and the beautification of the area; to promote community spirit and pride within the Katahdin Region; and in general to foster, encourage and promote the commercial, industrial and physical development of the towns of the Katahdin Region.
